The passenger terminal of TPA Airport
Tampa International Airport features a unique layout as the entire airport is encircled by the aircraft runway and taxi areas. This airport consists of only 1 terminal located in the center of the airport. The terminal has a large parking lot, connected with the south area of the terminal.
There are 3 levels, found at TPA Airport
Level 1 — Baggage Claim
Baggage claim sits in level 1 which is also split into 2 sections — one is assigned for the carousels for red category airlines and another for blue. Global Entry and TSA PreCheck Enrollment Centers are also located on this level.
Level 2 — Ticketing
The ticketing level is color-coordinated according to the airline. On either side of the airport, you will find curbsides labeled Blue Departure Drive and Red Departure Drive. This makes it easy for passengers to select their gate. Blue Express is curbside for passengers without checked baggage. this level is the home of lounges named USO Lounge.
Level 3 — Transfer Level
Level 3 is assigned as the transfer level where the monorail pick-up point is available. Passengers have to clear the security on arrival situated in the departure concourse.
There is a good selection of shops, cafes and restaurants, at this level. It also allows the passengers to access the Tampa Airport Marriott.
From this level, Passengers can take the Sky Connect train to reach some important areas such as economy parking lots, rental car centers, and public bus stops.
Airside Satellite Concourses

Airside A
Located in the southeast corner of the airport, this concourse is connected with 16 gates numbered 1, 3 to 12, and 14 to 18, it is used by several airlines for operating their including JetBlue, Silver Airways, Spirit, and United. Concourse A is the home of a small selection of shops and restaurants.
Airside C
This concourse serves several reputed airlines such as Alaska Airlines, Avelo Airlines, Breeze Airlines, Southwest, and Sun Country Airlines. Located in the northeast corner of the airport, it features 16 gates, numbered 30 to 45, and a good range of restaurants and shops. A smoking area is also found at Concourse C opposite gate 45.
Airside E
Concourse E sits at the northwest corner of the airport and is connected by 13 gates numbered 62 and 64 to 75. It is used by Air Canada, Delta Air Lines, and Frontier to operate their domestic and international flight. Besides this, the concourse is the home of a lounge named Delta Sky Club and a small selection of shops and restaurants. There are also 2 smoking areas at this concourse near Four Green Fields (T11) and gate 75.
Airside F
Situated at the southwest corner of the airport, It is primarily used for international flights. The concourse is connected by 13 gates numbered 78 to 90 and has a good selection of restaurants and shops, including duty-free.
