For trips closely by or simple vacations, less preparation is often needed. You might want to use that money for a good hotel, some additional meals or special experiences after you arrive.
Flying in economy on a slightly empty flight may give you a seat next to yourself. Yes, it’s not business class, but that’s okay and there’s no charge.

If the flight is brief or you want to spend your money elsewhere, economy class is still a good option. A fabulous trip can happen without champagne, although, it certainly helps.
