BOS Airport Terminals
Boston Logan International Airport or BOS has 4 terminals named A, B, C, and E, located at the north, south, and east points of the airport. All terminals are connected to parking garages thus providing very easy access to vehicles. Also, the terminals are all connected by walkways, which go through some secure areas and some beyond the secure areas.
Terminal A
This terminal is connected Gates A1 to A12, and also A13 to A22 (satellite) Delta Air Lines and WestJet operate flights from both the main terminal and the A satellite concourse.
The main building of Terminal A is connected by 11 gates numbered A1 to A11 to other parts of the airport. It is also home to several branded shops, reputed restaurants, and a Delta Sky Club. So, passengers cannot be boarded while waiting in the terminal for a flight.
Satellite Concourse
The Satellite Terminal is part of Terminal A where you’ll find Gate 10, numbered A13 to A22. It is accessed from another part of the airport through a long underground tunnel with a moving walkway.
This concourse consists of a good selection of shops and dining options, including a Starbucks and duty-free store. You can access a Delta Sky Club through gate A18.
Level 1 — This level of Terminal A has some important services such as Baggage Claim and Ground Transportation
Terminal B
With around 39 gates, Terminal B is used by several airlines to operate their domestic flights. With parking and exit gates on the outside, this terminal is completely U-shaped and connected to gates B1 to B12, B14 to B31, B31A, B32 to B35, B35A, and B36 to B40. The Chase Sapphire Lounge at The Club is located near gates B39 and B40 in this terminal. A good selection of reputed shops and restaurants can also be found here like 2 Legal Sea Foods, 3 Starbucks, 3 Dunkin’s, etc.
Level 1 consists of Baggage Claim and Ground Transportation and Level 2 has Check in.
Terminal C
Terminal C is connected by 31 gates numbered C8 to C12, C14 to C34, C36, and E1, E1A, E2 and E3. Here you will find many shops and restaurants that will make it very easy to spend a lot of time here. There is a lounge on the northwest leg for waiting passengers. Level 2 of this terminal has ticketing and gates and level 3 is Baggage Claim and Ground Transportation Arrivals are on the lower level of Terminal C, as well as access to ground transportation services.
Terminal E
BOS’s main international terminal, Terminal E, handles more operations than the other terminals of the airport. This terminal is divided into two levels i.e. Levels 2 and 3, which are connected to the rest of the airport by the E12 departure gate. It has 2 security checkpoints, 1 of which is located in the central area of the terminal, and the other is located where Terminal C is connected. In this terminal, you will also find many shops and restaurants. Directly opposite Gate E11 are the lifts to the designated lounges for British Airways, Lufthansa, Emirates, and Virgin Atlantic.
Baggage Claim and Ground Transportation is located on level 1 and ticketing Gates can be found on level 3.

You’ll also find dedicated TSA PreCheck lanes at BOS. Only eligible passengers will be able to use this service for expedited security clearance. Conditionally approved applicants must schedule an interview at the TSA PreCheck Enrollment Center located on the Arrivals Level of Terminal A. The center is also open Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 11:30 am and 12 noon.
Inter-Terminal Transfers
Inter-terminal transfers at Boston Logan are very easy and convenient. Terminals B, C, and E are connected by post-security centers. But mind Unlike terminal A, its security is not linked to other terminals. Travel to and From BOS
1. Train
You can easily get from the airport to downtown Boston or Northeast to Wonderland via the Blue Line subway. Again the Green Line helps connect Back Bay, Fenway Park, Boston University Boston College, Cleveland Circle, or Lechmere. Trains run daily from 6 am to 12:30 pm.
2. Buses
Outside each terminal is the Silver Line SL1 bus service that offers free rides from the airport to South Station. This bus service stops at BOS from Chelsea to Dudley Square. Logan Express is another popular bus service that serves bus passengers to Braintree, Framingham, Peabody, and Woburn from outside the terminals. There are several private bus companies that operate from BOS to Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and the Northeast.
