The passenger terminal of Denver International Airport

The terminal at Denver International Airport is instantly recognizable for its distinctive roof designed by architect Curtis Fentress. The white, tent-like structure is reminiscent of the snow-capped peaks of the Rocky Mountains.

Jeppesen Terminal

Renowned as the Jeppesen Terminal, The main terminal is named the home of ticketing, security checkpoints, baggage claim, and various amenities. It is the starting point for passengers after entering the airport before proceeding to their respective concourses.

The main terminal building has 6 floors, which are divided into 5 levels. Levels 1 to 4 mostly cover the parking garage. Level 6 has passenger drop-off, check-in facilities, and a food court. The entire building is connected to the concourse by a pedestrian bridge. You will find several restaurants, baggage claim, and the south and north security checkpoints at Level 5

Concourse A

Concourse A consists of 39 gates and several lounges named American Airlines Admirals Club, Capital One Lounge (coming soon), Delta Sky Club, and USO Lounge.

This Concourse is connected to the main Terminal building via a pedestrian bridge. Alternatively, the Automatic Guideway Transit System, or AGTS, also helps to connect Concourse A to this Terminal building. Concourse A is used to depart international flights.

Concourse B

Unlike Concourse A, you cannot reach this Concourse via any walkways. From Jeppesen Terminal or Concourse A, you will be accessed by AGTS.

Concourse B features 66 gates 2 United Club lounges at the e concourse and a variety of shops and restaurants.

Concourse C

Concourse C consists of 43 gates and a good selection of shops, bars, and restaurants. It also has a lounge named Centurion Lounge. This concourse is accessible by riding the AGTS from Jeppesen Terminal or Concourse A.

Automatic Guideway Transit System

The Automatic Guideway Transit System (AGTS) is an efficient and free underground train service that helps to connect Jeppesen Terminal and Concourse C and between Concourses A and B.

Sits within the secure area of the airport, you have to pass through a security checkpoint before using the service. You will find the station on each concourse located on level B. The departure gate is located on the upper levels. The AGTS of Jeppesen Terminal can be found in the main hall on level 4 which typically takes around 6 minutes from the terminal to the furthest point of Concourse C.

Walking

Concourse A: You can connect the Jeppesen Terminal to Concourse A via a pedestrian bridge, which offers excellent scenic beauty of the tarmac and the Rocky Mountains.

How to get to Denver International Airport?

1. Train

There is A Line Commuter Train, operated by the Regional Transportation District (RTD). This train connects the DEN to the downtown Denver Union Station within 37 minutes. This transport option is available every 15 minutes during peak hours and every 30 minutes off-peak. It charges a flat rate of $10.50.

2. Buses

RTD Bus: Public buses are available from the DEN Transit Center on level 1 of Jeppesen Terminal by routes AB, AT, 104L, 145X, and 169L. You will find the buses from approximately 3:30 a.m. to midnight, which also charge a flat rate of $10.50.

3. Charter Bus Services

This bus service is from level 5, island 3 of Jeppesen Terminal.

4.Bustang Service

Operated by the Colorado Department of Transportation, the Inter-regional bus service carries passengers from Denver Union Station to the airport on the A Line commuter train.

5. Shuttles

Shared rides and private ride shuttles can be booked at any place downtown of the Denver International Airport.  Its departure is available on level 5, island 5 of Jeppesen Terminal.

6. Taxi
