Passenger Terminal of DTW Airport

DTW features 2 passenger terminals, named McNamara Terminal and Evans Terminal. Both of these terminals are located at the end of the airport and they are not connected to one another.

 

You need to catch the John Dingell Drive to connect the 2 terminals.

Evans Terminal

Sitting at the north end of the airport, Evans Terminal is the smaller of the 2 terminals, consisting of only one concourse, Concourse D. This terminal is connected with 29 gates and serves non-SkyTeam airlines.

 

Ticketing and departures are available on the upper level and you will find the arrivals and transportation services are on the lower level of this terminal. Evans Terminal features the Lufthansa Lounges and a Freedom Center for the military.

McNamara Terminal

Consisting of 3 concourses, McNamara is the larger terminal than Evans Terminal which is used by SkyTeam airlines Aeromexico, Delta, and Air France to operate both domestic and international flights. It is located at the southern end of the airport. You need to use John Dingell Drive to connect the outside and roadways parking from the terminal.

 

McNamara Terminal is the home to a good selection of shops, cafes, and restaurants. you will find the ticketing lobby on level 3, and the Westin Hotel on the lower level.

Concourse A

As a mile-long concourse, Concourse A features 62 gates. Passengers can use moving walkways or take a ride on the Express Tram to move between gates.

Concourse B

It is a joint concourse with Concourse C and is connected with 17 gates. To reach Concourse B, passengers need to use the tunnel between gates A38 and A40. Concourse B features different shops, dining options, and a children’s play area.
