Passengers Terminal of Indianapolis International Airport

Indianapolis International Airport (IND) features a single terminal building that helps the passengers easy to move. This modern terminal is split into two main concourses, Concourse A and Concourse B. Each terminal serves different airlines.

Airport parking sits inside the terminal which is accessed by road, along with the rental car facility.

Main Terminal

Level 1 – Arrivals –  Passenger arrivals can be found on the lower level of the terminal, along with other services such as baggage claim carousels, passport control, and customs for international arrivals. This level also features a Lounge named USO Lounge located near the Baggage Service Offices. You can access the terminal parking garage with a pedestrian bridge.

 

Level 2 – Departures –  Level 2 also consists of the departure level. So, once passengers have checked in for ticketing country available at this level, they can proceed to Civic Plaza. This level is also the home of several branded shops and restaurants and 2 security checkpoints. Once reach the secure area, passengers can easily transfer to the 2 concourses via the concourse connector without clearing security again.

Concourse A

Located at the southern end of the terminal, Concourse A is used by Air Canada, Alaska Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and Spirit Airlines and is connected through 20 gates. In this concourse, you will find 2 sets of moving walkways to help passengers travel to their gate. Here, It features several dining options such as a variety of restaurants, cafes, and bars, including Indiana Pacers Courtside Club, Chick-fil-A, and McDonald’s, and shops including newsstands, gift shops, and specialty stores like Tech On The Go and Vineyard Vines. it has one Lounge located near Gate A7, named Delta Sky Club.

Concourse B

Concourse B is situated at the northern end of the terminal and features 20 gates. this concourse serves several reputed airlines such as Allegiant Air, American Airlines,  Frontier Airlines, Southwest Airlines, and United Airlines There’s a good selection of eateries, including Shapiro’s Delicatessen, Starbucks, and Qdoba Mexican Grill and Shops, including a variety of retail options like CNBC News, Hudson Booksellers, and The Scoreboard. American Airlines Admirals Club is located at this concourse near Gate B5.

Global Entry Program

IND has Global Entry kiosks for expedited security clearance of passengers who are arriving or returning from other destinations in the U.S.After submitting the application, the applicant has to arrange an interview at the Global Entry enrollment center.
