Passenger Terminals at John F Kennedy International Airport – JFK

Terminal 1

Terminal 4

The largest terminal at JFK Airport, this terminal comprises 38 gates distributed across concourses A and B. It primarily serves Air Europa, Air India, Avianca Brasil, Caribbean Airlines, China Airlines, Copa Airlines, Delta Air Lines, El Al, Emirates, Etihad, Hawaiian Airlines, and Kenya Airways among 30 international and domestic airlines. Renovated in 2023, this terminal is grander than the other terminals and is home to high-end stores such as Brooks Brothers, Coach, Hugo Boss, Kiehl’s, Michael Kors, Pandora, Swarovski, and Victoria’s Secret. You’ll also find everything from fast-food chains like Shake Shack and Dunkin’ Donuts to sit-down eateries like The Palm Bar and Grill, in addition to the usual duty-free shops, newsstands, and to-go markets.

Terminal 5

Terminal 5 is the only terminal at JKF Airport where you can get on-site accommodation, TWA Hotel, and access to Be Relax Spa for manicures and massages.

There are also retail stores located here, including The Loft, Brighton Collectibles, Ron John Surf Shop, and two bookstores, as well as several grab-and-go markets, duty-free shops, and food and beverage options from chains such as Starbucks, Jamba Juice, and Dunkin’ Available at this terminal are Donut to Artichoke Basil Pizza, baked by Melissa and H&H Bagels. You can find facilities such as currency exchange, nursing suites, and pet relief areas. Also, several exit gates are connected to this terminal.

Terminal 7

International airlines that fly from Terminal 7 include Lingus, Aerolinas Argentinas, Air Canada, Alaska Airlines, ANA (All Nippon), etc. In this terminal, one of the shops and other retail outlets that can be found for duty-free shopping is Kiehl’s. Food options include coffee and pastries, sushi, deli-style sandwiches, and burgers at the food court. Services available in Terminal 7 include currency exchange, a pet relief area, and a nursing suite.


Aer Lingus and Alaska Airlines each have their own lounges at the airport, where passengers can relax before their flight.

Terminal 8
