Passengers Terminal of the Kansas City International Airport - MCI
Kansas City International Airport had two terminals, named Terminals B and C. Now it has three terminal buildings. The new building is situated northwest of the old Terminals B and C. You will take the walkway path in front of the terminal with 2 levels for departures and arrivals.
Levels of the Airport
Level 1 – Level 1 consists of the Baggage claim area along with Customs and Immigration for international arrivals. This level has a few cafes and shops in the arrivals hall.
Level 2 – Check-in sits on level 2, with the airline desks which is situated at either end of the terminal and the security checkpoints in the middle. Passengers who are using shuttle services can be dropped off at the arrivals curb outside or parking garage. You will find few café in the check-in area of the level 2. There are some other restaurants and shops, inside the secure area.
Concourses
Concourse A – After clearing the security, passengers can arrive at Concourse A, which has 13 gates on the same level. This concourse features several shops and restaurants available in the central area and at the end of the concourse.
Concourse B – If you want to reach Concourse B, passengers need to continue forward from the security checkpoint via moving walkways. Concourse B is connected through 27 gates with different important areas of the airport. There you will find a good selection of shops and restaurants and a Delta Sky Club near the concourse entrance.
