Passengers Terminal of Pittsburgh International Airport - PIT

Pittsburgh International Airport is split into four primary concourses (A, B, C, and D), all of which are connected with the central Airside Terminal. This layout of the terminals ensures that passengers can easily access all gates and amenities, regardless of which concourse their flight departs from. The Airside Terminal is conveniently connected to the Landside Terminal, where you will find out the check-in, security, and baggage claim areas.

The main terminal is located at the center of the airport, which is connected through the people mover with different important areas of 4 remote concourses. Main Terminal

Public and commercial curbs can be found on either side of the terminal, where you’ll also find clearly marked areas for passenger pick-up and drop-off, making your access to different parts of the airport much easier. Level 3 – The airline ticketing desks are situated on level 3. After clearing the security, you can take the escalators to access different areas. You will find the additional restrooms on the level 4.

Concourses

Central Concourse

Through the people mover located between the terminal and the far concourse, passengers can access all important areas from the central concourse area to departures/arrivals on level. International Arrivals and Customs and Immigration are also located on the lower level of this concourse. It also has a variety of shops, restaurants, and a lounge called Admiral Club on Level 3.

Concourse A

Located at the northeast of the central concourse area, this concourse is connected with 25 gates numbered A1 to A25. There are three sets of moving walkways that assist the passengers to move around. This concourse is the home of several shops and restaurants situated at the south end of the concourse.

Concourse B

With 25 gates, this concourse is situated at the southwest of the central concourse. It’s one of the longest concourses with multiple moving walkways that help passengers to different important areas and entrances. This concourse is also the home of several branded shops and restaurants.

Concourse C

This concourse is used by British Airways and Air Canada to operate international flights from 11 gates numbered C51 to C61. You will find the children’s play area near gate C56. There, you cannot find any shops or restaurants on this concourse. The concourse features a lounge, named Club Lounge which can be accessed with a day pass. The members of the military and their dependents can use the USO Lounge near gate C54.

Concourse D

Located at northwest of the central concourse area, concourse D is connected with 14 gates numbered D76 to D89. Here, you will find a couple of moving walkways to aid passengers. Beside this, this concourse is the home of a small selection of shops and restaurants and a pet relief area.

Global Entry Program

PIT has dedicated Global Entry kiosks for expedited clearance of passengers arriving in to the U.S. from any international destination. To finalize the Global Entry program application, approved passengers should schedule an interview at the enrollment center, available on the ticketing level of the main terminal, open from Sunday to Thursday from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
